*Note: For those that observe I wish you a Happy Easter. For those of other faiths or of none, may Peace be with you.

Matthew 28 ~ 5 The angel said to the women, β€œDo not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. 7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples: β€˜He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”

Isolation with Hope (tanka)*

dark dreams encircled~

ominous thoughts void of life~

seek internal peace~

lowered in supplication~

divinity will enlighten

*Note: Each day though there seems no end in sight, do not let this darkness (fear) over take the light (hope). Please watch my musical choice for this verse in it entirety. It is quite beautiful visually.

According to the Encyclopedia of World Religions Sufis believe that: β€œthe human spirit being a direct emanation from the divine Command, is therefore an emanation of God himself, and could find its highest aim only in the obliteration of its illusory selfhood and absorption into the Eternal Reality. I love Rumi’s poetry it has always gave me comfort in moments of sadness or despair. For further understanding I have provided two links.

A Comparative Study Of The “perfect Man” In Ibn Arabi And Rumi

The Realm of Imagination According to Jalal al-Din Rumi and Ibn Arabi

Swing (tanka)*

this love so in tune~

a rhythm rarely played off key~

leaps in harmony~

joined in expressed happiness~

hands reach for one another

*Note: Swing is an era in music from 1933–1947, when teenagers and young adults danced to jazz-orientated bands.

When jazz orchestras dominated pop charts and when influential clarinettists were household names. In the Mood was first recorded in 1939 by Glenn Miller. I’m a fan of big band music. For me there has always been this strong connection to the β€˜30s and β€˜40s, perhaps i lived there in another lifetime. I choose the piano version, it worked with the art. Don’t worry here is the original by Glenn Miller. This also shows all the different dance moves (be patient they come in between the photos from that era) in the video are fantabulous!!

Take care, be safe. 🌎✌🏻❀️

*Note: Koho Hiroshima was a Japanese Asian Modern & Contemporary artist who was born in 1889 and died in 1951. What I could gather was that he was a wood printmaker. There wasn’t much information that I could find about him, I would have liked to have seen more of his work. If any of you out there in blogger world can find more information on him, please let me know. Read the tanka, study the art, close your eyes visualize the image in your mind and listen to the music. Enjoy 🌎✌🏻❀️
