*Note: I’ve always been eclectic in my musical tastes. I was never a mad fan of anyone band or artist, although I did have favorites. I’ve given some links to a few of the original vinyl albums I have. I’ve been dragging these around for years. If you ever had a collection of these you know how heavy they are. I hope you enjoy them.
PS My posts will be limited as I broke a finger and it takes forever to peck with one finger.
*Note: My Mom had so much love to give and couldn’t have children. She always said how lucky she was to be chosen to be my Mom and her prayers were answered. When all the time I was the lucky one that He sent her to me. My Mom loved roses and had a garden full of them. This year my daughter honored both of us by planting two identical rose bushes in her own garden (you can see it’s bloom in Eye View #3), I was deeply moved by this gift of remembrance and love.
*Note: The music is from the soundtrack for the movie and several clips from The Tree of Life**, with the hauntingly beautiful Lacrimosa in the background by Zbigniew Preisner. Behold true beauty in sound and vision.
🌎✌🏻💙 Be safe, take care.
** if you’d like to know more about the movie (which I found very moving) I have provided a link to Wikipedia
Cat Stevens is a favorite of mine, his lyrics are beautiful and written from the heart. Yusuf Islam (born Steven Demetre Georgiou; 21 July 1948), commonly known by his stage name Cat Stevens, and later Yusuf, is a British singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. His musical style consists of folk, pop, rock, and, in his later career, Islamic music. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014. He has also won a number of humanitarian awards.
