The Beguiled

Let yourself be silently drawn
by the stronger
pull of what you really love.
~~~ Rumi
His words
her opium,
inflames an
inner desire,
deeply she
inhales, closing
her eyes
listening intently
to His gentle
  1. Don’t know how I missed this one, Elle. A beautiful poem, beautiful song, which I’d never heard before, thank you; and, the Rumi poem is gorgeous. Indeed, drawn…lovely.πŸ’œπŸ™πŸ¦‹πŸŒΊβœ¨
    1. Thank you, Jeff, for always being kind with your comments. Rumi is my favorite poet, I find peace in his words. I thought the song was so beautiful it stirred so much emotion in me. I discovered it while search for a song to go with this little poem ? I find their music intriguing. Happy that you enjoyed the whole package.
      1. You’re most welcome, Elle. It is always my pleasure. Ah, yes, indeed, I too love Rumi for the same reason. So few words, so much depth, and peace. It’s lovely. The music is very nice. I love music, and always appreciate being exposed to new music. Have a great day, my friend. πŸ€—β€πŸ™βœ¨πŸŒΉβ˜€πŸŒΌ
