Artistic License (three line tales #264)

Eye on the wall,

back to the light.

Thought I was dead,

still see flowers grow.

Art cannot be

pigeonholed,

too one form.

  1. I love the art work! A few years ago a neighbor down the street hired me to paint a large Hobbiton Shire Mural on the wall inside his two car garage. What fun!!

    1. Serious art envy! I love Tolkien’s works and would dearly love to have such a delightfully expressed mural near me. That you painted it must have been an experience to treasure.

    2. Did you take a photo of it, Dwight? I would have loved to have seen it. I remember reading the hobbit at 16 I just couldn’t seem to grasp the story 10 years later I totally got it.

  2. Art takes as many forms as we can give it. Sometimes I think too many people think art has everything to do with paint and not enough to do with simple creative expression! Love the way you voice that so artfully. πŸ™‚

  3. Thank you reading and your comment 😊 if the art shouldn’t be, than it goes without saying nor should the artist be.
