It seemed

like

yesterday

I was a

bud

in Spring’s nourishing womb

my first mother

then I opened

blossomed

in Summer’s warm touch

my second mother

now I have

withered

in Autumn’s cool embrace

my third mother

I await

suspended

in Winter’s final grip

my fourth mother

after which I will

be born again,

Life moves

with the

Seasons
